Mi Delicioso Guanajuato Cheesecake Review

 Hi Folks,

Currently in Huntsville for vacation to visit my mother. Definitely not very into the vacation that much (limited things to do forgot to bring my gaming laptop to play Elden Ring). However I am enjoying hanging with old friends and catching up. Being around these people with little munchkins makes you really want to start a family yourself and really shows what being responsible is all about. Alas I personally can work on myself so more to reap those benefits with a clear mind and healthy body.

Onto the Cheesecake Review

I was meeting friends to enjoy the botanical gardens with an early dinner, but more importantly perform photo shoot in an attempt to up my Bumble profile ante (at least have a women take my pictures for once). Ideally the shots will help mitigate my prolonged ineffectiveness at securing dates (or I could just lower my standards, work out more, do activities that can lead to dates, etc.). Its really about effort, and this effort is much easier than the effort of the other options. Anyways I stopped at a shady Mexican restaurant called Mi Delicioso Guanajuato. As you can tell with the restaurant webpage being a Facebook page it is your classic hole-in-the-wall that I wouldn't visit past 9 pm. They had your standard steel bars behind the windows to ensure intruders cannot get in after breaking glass. What's typical about these kind of places is that the food is the most authentic food you would ever get (and thus the best tasting). I had their barbacoa tacos and they were the best barbacoa tacos in Huntsville. I will need to go back and try their Al pastor to compare to another sketch Mexican Restaurant called El Palomino. Long live sketch Mexican restaurants.

Anyways they had a wonderful surprise, which was a churro Cheesecake. It was, as expected, more of a dessert than a Cheesecake. Had some berries and high fructose corn syrup (more known as strawberry purre) on top. The crust was churro which to be honest may actually make a really good crust. However they put the crust on the top and the bottom and the crust dominated the Cheesecake. The fruit didn't really help either in bringing out the Cheesecake itself, which seemed ok to be honest. I think if they removed the top churro layer on the crust it would be fantastic. But alas they wanted to be pazazy about it.

Score: 6.9/10

Libe Barer, if you were a triangle you would be acute one.
