Publix 'First' Cheesecake Review

So this review is late by a week, but I am making two reviews this week to make up for it. So for my rambling paragraph I am going to reflect on the fact that it is 22 days till Christmas. Given my age I am not expecting much from the fat man, maybe some cash money. Unlike everyone else I know I have been good this year, as Santa was like "Hey cheesecakelover you are the best child of them all." Suck it to the rest of you. I bet that is what all those bratty students who get As all the time felt like in grade school. Just looking down on the rest of us mere mortals with their little smug look, waving that letter around.

Onto the Cheesecake Review

This Cheesecake review was done at Thanksgiving lunch/dinner (really both). Typically we have a big family get together; however, we are getting more sick of each other so we split up the family. The majority of the younger cousins were up north and the older cousins went south. Of course the younger cousins went north, they were the most able bodied men (our family consists of mostly men) to fight against the whitewalkers and the army of the dead. I was part of the younger cousins group and went north. Actually was pretty glad I did, as I grew up with the majority of the cousins there. Nothing like avoiding the crazy uncle and cousins who have lost a few screws over the years, which reduces the chances on having to talk about subjects like politics or hearing about a story of a family member which is more depressing than hilarious. Trust me we are a degenerate family who has seen a lot so it takes some hard earned effort to create a bad situation where we wouldn't laugh. But no matter how great the year has been, or how normal the year should be, our family finds a way to grab depression from the jaws of normalcy. #SAD

Given that we split up, the younger crew took the chance to change up how the turkey was made. Sorry Mimi, your turkey requires the use of gravy to make it better tasting and no one wanted seconds of the turkey. Time for change. So we fried it. And o Lord was it fantastic. No gravy needed and seconds were had. It gave me a new appreciate for non-deli turkey. Sorta like when your old dog learns a new trick; you were not expecting it but are super happy that it happened. Especially when that dog trick is 'bring me a drink from the fridge'. Shout out to Zachary, you beautiful ba*terd, for frying that thing. #masterclass

I contributed to our Thanksgiving but doing the laziness thing possible. Buying a Cheesecake at Publix. The great thing about this Cheesecake is that it is a Cheesecake made by the Publix bakery so it isn't some frozen off the shelf bs this time around. Now I have eaten Publix Cheesecake, but it was plain traditional Cheesecake. Publix ran out of the traditional Cheesecake I usually get and will probably rate later. But they did have this Strawberry one that had strawberries on top and some strawberry liquid substance that drenched the Cheesecake. Tbh that made it weak sauce. It looks like something Walmart would display at the front of their bakery, fake and unappealing to people with any sense. The taste was a bit better, but that is thanks to the Cheesecake not the extra stuff. The Cheesecake was smooth but there was some thickness to this one. It was like those women who say they have an 'hourglass' shape. Sure you have big boobs and a big butt which is perfectly fine. But, lets be real here, some (I really mean the word some) who say they are hourglass tend to exist in the realm of 'not skinny', and are justifying the shape in order to skip their weekly cardio sesh or eat that bag of chocolate fudge. Don't get me wrong there are people out there who love you just the way you are. I just don't care for it as much as other types. #cheesecakeloverisadick

The extra stuff made it not as good as well. The strawberries were ok but the liquid that seemed to be red dyed corn syrup was not that impressive. Really brought down the full potential of the Cheesecake. This is a situation where the dessert should have been a Cheesecake. Nonetheless it was still pretty solid, cause it was mostly Cheesecake.

Overall Score: 7.5/10
