Got back from my three week trip to immediate testing of a payload. Not slow ramp back in just kept on running. Also getting back into my daily routines. Think having a daily routine is good to have in general. Keeps things in motion without really losing it. I'm also pretty excited about starting improv back up this week. Going to be interesting.
Onto the Cheesecake Review.
On my second to last day in Huntsville I went to dinner with a friend of mine and her new boyfriend at this German place called Hildegard' German Cuisine. There was supposed to be others there but they got sick. As I get older and wiser, I use 'sickness' for when I commit to doing something that when the day arrives, I really do not want to actually do. What's funny is that sometimes I don't want to go so bad that my body wills itself into actually being sick. Like I took my temperature and its definitely 99-100 degrees F type of sick, and it goes away the next day. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy. #totallynotbutthurt Irrespective the food was pretty solid would recommend for those who like German food that live in Huntsville (at least better than the other German place in Huntsville). I honestly chose this place cause TripAdvisor said they had the best Cheesecake in Huntsville. Should you trust TripAdvisor? Based on the Blueberry Cheesecake doubtful. Based on the Nutella Cheesecake its close.
So they didn't have traditional. Which was unfortunate but I think Blueberry provided the closest traditional you could get. They also had Nutella and Peanut Butter (from a pure dessert standpoint, peanut butter sounds good). I got the Blueberry the couple got Nutella (probably cause my friend is Italian its the obvious choice). So the Blueberry was ok texture wise however there was no crust and no real taste to the Cheesecake itself that screamed this is really good. It was slightly bland to be honest. I tried to the Nutella Cheesecake and I liked it better (7.8 score; probably cause the Nutella provided a hint of chocolate to a Cheesecake like my top Cheesecake has). Overall it was a fun evening of comradery and the boyfriend seems to be a keeper in my book.
