Murdock's Cheesecake Review

 Hi Folks,

I finally completed my first renovation of my apartment but switching out an outdated breaker panel and switching out a tank water heater for a tankless water heater. So far pretty satisfied with both (and pretty sure I improved the apartment value by a solid chunk). Up next is really two things. First is to figure out how to handle the Master closet, since it basically walks directly to the master bathroom. Second is to get the living room done done (fix these horrid blinds and finish the back area. When the living room is done I think I would be comfortable inviting guests over so that is probably going first.

Onto the Cheesecake Review.

I did not plan out what my next Cheesecake destination was going to be in enough fashion. I went to a bakery on a Saturday and found out that they were in the middle of a wedding. I spent the next twenty minutes in my car looking at Google Maps hoping to find a place that served Cheesecake and didn't require me to sit down in a restaurant alone. I don't want the world knowing I am alone most of the time (Libe Barer please hear this poor cry for help and console me). I found a restaurant called Murdock's (link here). Its in a area that is pretty hopping in Cocoa Proper called Cocoa Village, and to be perfectly blunt I would live there in a heartbeat second to living by the beach. When I drove there though I quickly realized that there was a festival going on (I am so out of touch with what is happening locally). So I spent 10 minutes finding parking and accepted my fate of blocking someone in. As a result (and because I am a kind soul) I ran half a mile to get the Cheesecake through the festival and half a mile back to my car with the Cheesecake. I'm sure I got some looks and my anxiety subconsciously made me feel awkward for running through the festival. Anyways the deed was done and I got the Cheesecake.

The Cheesecake I order was a salted caramel Cheesecake and I thought nothing of it until I got a look at it. It is very very very very similar to the Cheesecake I got at Coconuts on the Beach (a Cheesecake I haven't reviewed on this blog but I have had). And it tasted exactly like it as well. I think that there is a connection somewhere between Coconuts and Murdock's. But I'm not going to look for it cause I really don't care. Both times the Cheesecake was fantastic. Good texture and taste, you could taste the crust, and it wasn't too much caramel that it overpowered the taste of Cheesecake. However, it does lose points for not being original and the caramel did overcompensate for the Cheesecake.

Overall Score: 7.4/10

P.S. It would be very alarming if an alarm clock could hit you back.
