BoriMami Bakery Cheesecake Review

 Hello All,

I think I am underestimating myself in suggesting that the house is the only thing I need to worry about. However, given my current financial situation it is the only logical thing that I should be doing. There are other things I want to do (scuba certification, pilot license, system engineering certifications) but to be honest I just want to do absolutely nothing right now. I just got out of an abusive relationship with grad school so I think trying to expand my understanding of the world is going to be put on hold as I self-evaluate what extra-curricular items I want to include myself in.

Onto the Cheesecake review.

Unlike last week, I planned out my Cheesecake this time around with the bakery I wanted to get last time. The bakery is called BoriMami (website link here). You could walk in and smell that wellness, but it is tucked away in some shady place. This gave me hope of it being a magical 'hole in the wall' that folks have talked about in the past. I pre-ordered two Cheesecake (plain, peanut butter) and you will have a picture of both of them below. However, I am only going to review the plain one (the peanut butter one was ok the candy on top was unnecessary and served more for an insta pic than for taste). I also ordered them right after I gave blood so I was banking on being hungry. However I made two costly errors. First, I got peanut butter crackers and cookies leaving the donor bus. Second, buying a chicken tendy pub sub (tbh I still haven't gotten that right mix of ingredients for an exceptional tendy pub sub but I will get there). The reason why those were costly was because I stuffed my face prior with food that my stomach would take a minute to digest. It also affected the peanut butter Cheesecake taste, since I had peanut butter sweets prior. On a positive note, given that I ate the peanut butter one first, I realized that I needed to warm it up a smidge. This enabled me to walk into the trad Cheesecake review with perfect clarity.

This review is the first time that I have ever complained about too much crust. Usually it is the opposite. But this time the crust to Cheesecake ratio was to big and dropped the points down some. Which is a darn shame cause the Cheesecake portion was phenomenal, like definitely knew it was made fresh the texture was top notch and it was baked perfectly. There were no flaws.

 Overall Score: 7.9/10

P.S. Libe Barer, I wish I was cross-eyed so I can see you twice.
