So I have been hanging out with this lovely lady friend of mine and let me tell ya I was not expecting to be enjoying myself as much as I have with her. She super nice, sorta funny (not as funny as me but close enough), and has her crap together (although she will say otherwise). I don't know where this will be going at all, as I'm moving back to Florida in May for the foreseeable future. But for now I am going to enjoy being around her because she is pretty awesome. Onto the Cheesecake review.
So I went to this steakhouse called Firebirds in Chattanooga, TN. Here is their website. We have been to this steakhouse before; this is our third time. The first time around our food took twenty years and thus we got comp'ed a dessert. The second time around the waitress spilled a wine glass on my mother; we got comp'ed most of our meal. You would think that we wouldn't go back (especially for a birthday celebration), but no our family is basically masochist hookers. We got there, get crap service, and get discounts on our food. #selflove=selfloathing
There is a reason we go back. Their prime rib is better than any prime rib in Huntsville, plain and simple. It does not take much, but Firebird makes their prime rib just right. I love prime rib, probably my favorite steak cut. It is in the top three of favorite main courses. If done right, like at Firebirds, I will overlook that thing you call service and eat there. So we did that for my birthday. I got a driver belt to install into my car from my brother and some money from Mother btw in case yall were curious on what I got on my birthday. I've passed the quarter century mark, which I really do not care about. I think I will start caring in about 3-5 years when I am not sucking my parents' tit and maybe have a long-term girlfriend/fiance. That is a fingers crossed hope to God type of thing though. #adultinggoals
Anyways Firebirds also has the best Cheesecake I have every had in my entire life. It is nothing too important, just nobody has topped this Cheesecake yet. I think my Cheesecake that I personally make might lose to this one. Let me tell you, if you want to eat clouds then come eat the Cheesecake here. The texture is the right amount of soft, yet was not light at all. I want to say that I had a crab cake, a 16 oz prime rib, a salad, and a side dish (weekly I'm fat reminder) before having this Cheesecake and I will still state that this Cheesecake was the best out of anything else I have had. The crust was on point to where it melted with the Cheesecake nicely. I think what made it was the caramelized sugar on top. Mag-fing-nificant.
Overall Score: 9.8/10
